Athletes and Corona
Covid-19
becomes the biggest monster of the time. Almost all developed and under
developed states have paused the button on their economy, education, sports and
other important sectors of life, from the last 4 months. Wuhan the city of
China was the first locality of corona virus back in January 2020. But today
this is pandemic , millions of people have lost their lives due to corona
positive. Corona has many unique features, actually corona can easily attack
all age groups but unfortunately will never let those people to survive who are
above 60 , people who are suffering from any chronic disease and some young
people have also lost their life.
Here
I will discuss about the athletes , how athletes will fight against the corona
and what are the physical activities of athletes during this global lockdown.
Athletes
are very energetic they have guts to fight with any kind of dangerous disease.
Their positive energy always help them to succeed in any pandemic challenge.
Apart
from that athletes are mentally strong, because athletes are in race of
competition with themselves and their opponents. They are familiar to
challenges in life. They are not afraid of failures. They always prepare their
mind for the failures and challenges , their developed will power will hep them
to fight the corona pandemic. When ever any athlete will get the covid-19
positive, then his/her own positivity to life will negative the covid-19 test.
So we can say athletes have excellent command on sports psychology , they will
never give up in any alarming situation.
In
addition to this the players of national teams in every sports, standard club
players , top universities players and all other players have their own
certified sports nutritionist. They
recommend the balance diet which boots up the immunity of each athlete. So this is another countable point among athletes ,
which helps them to recover easily then the non-athlete. Nutrition is the
compulsory factor for every individual to live a healthy life. The complete and
balance diet with all required nutrients will help an individual to boost up
their immunity.
As we know corona is a respiratory disease. It effects
the throat and patients will feel difficulty to breath. Now count the another
helpful habit of an athlete. Players are regular in their fitness training,
which will help them to stay away from the corona pandemic. Athletes have good
habits to bring smoothness in their breathing with different exercises like
brisk walk, jogging, running and other specific exercises.
Today this alarming situation has ruin all the world
sports schedule , even first time in the history Olympic games are cancelled(
the biggest sports event) , the exciting cricket event of Pakistan PSL has been
played without spectators and many other big events of different sports are
delayed and cancelled.
The point we should understand is that we all are
educated and living in this very modern era so we all have knowledge of
exercise and physical activities without our trainers and coaches. So we should
continue our training and exercise at our home during this lockdown.
Here are some exercise which are very easy to do like
yoga for 15 mints , sit-ups max you can do, push-ups again up to your own
capacity and some stretching. These are very easy and important exercises you
can do at your home during this global lockdown. Top players are sharing their
videos of training on social media this become a trend today so you can copy
their exercises. The top and very expensive coaches are also sharing their fabulous
videos on their social media accounts about different type of trainings so this
is good time to improve yourselves.
To wind up this one I have another important point
regarding athletes is that, they have time to heal their injuries. When players
are on filed they never stop themselves to play even they are suffering from
any minor or major injury so this is good time to recover all the previous
injuries with different type of treatments.
