Sports nutrition is one of the advance fields of sports sciences which deals with the study of nutrition of the athletes , the type of diet which is required for players of the different games. Diet is the most important factor for every human being to live a healthy life. It is said that health is wealth so for this we have to take good diet. Especially the players who are participating in different physical activities because during that activity they burn most of the calories. To recover that they have to take a special diet. There are many professional nutritionist in market today they make different diet plans on the bases of the physical activity they are performing. In our society there is no awareness of this field even the coaches are not implementing such things because there is no proper diet charts for players in Pakistan. Pakistan cricket board is somehow spending money on such things but other sports are very far from this filed.
Players should have diet plans not only for competition period but for all seasons which are in , off, pre and post season. Human body is very complex and need different amount of nutrients on the bases of their own need. As we know different athletes have different mechanism so they also need different amount of nutrients.
