Covid-19 AND I

I have written this piece very early but this internet is sooo awefull here , so now I get some good signals.

We are living in this era I have never experienced any lockdown here in my town ever , because we have very peaceful life here in sherqilla. Specially to community which I belong we don’t have any chance of conflicts, we don’t have any arms in our home for self-defense even. Soo I went to Lahore Pakistan for my further studies , I have spent three years there I have experiences many new things there like terrorism, sectarianism, conflicts among different groups in university and many others. In this way my life was going own, I was very excited for my last semester because it’s my last semester here in The university of Punjab Lahore Pakistan. As Pakistan has very good relations with china and I belong to Gilgit Baltistan so Gilgit Baltistan share borders with china , I remember in December I heard a news about china Wuhan that , a very dangerous virus has ruin the peace of china , we came to know every day that hundreds of people are losing their life’s just because of that virus. As we know China is one of the super powers and most developed country but it was strange that there was no any cure for that virus for many months and the only precaution was to quarantine the impacted people from others. This virus have many unique characteristics that it’s not lethal but it spreads quickly so its perilous and there is no enough place for quarantine in many areas. Pakistan is among the good countries of the globe  they have educated ministers and prime minister , they were familiar with that very virus , they did not take precautions  before that virus reach the territories of Pakistan through the impacted Pakistanis in Iran. China is a responsible they said they will not send the Pakistanis to Pakistan but Pakistani students in china and their parents compel both the governments to  send them back to Pakistan. We were not taking that corona virus very serious but when the very 1^st case was admitted in Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi , people start to take minor precautions by their own. As social media plays vital role in bringing global information , so they break the news about the corona impacted person in Pakistan was back from Iran , so Iran deceives Pakistan. Corona virus was spread in Iran after china ,that was time when shia Muslims were there in Iran from the whole world for any religious activity. That people are called zaheeren they come back to Pakistan from Iran and are may be the reason of corona in Pakistan.

We know the situations of Pakistan , Pakistan is already an under developing country where there  is political instability nowadays, at this point the virus could ruin all the economy of Pakistan and many life’s are in big threat. Corona virus was started in the Karachi Pakistan so we can say that it starts for the south and now it have roots everywhere in Pakistan. 24 people have died  in Pakistan and there are 1800 cases now.

In addition to that here in my region Gilgit Baltistan  there are more then 200 +  cases today , skardu region have many cases then Gilgit region, shigar , Astore and hunza. Other districts have also corona cases.

Corona has started from Asia but today America is the second zone of corona , America lose the life’s double then  china today, Italy was the 3^rd after Iran, Spain and many other countries are effected by the corona virus today. Italy has greater number of deaths in a day which was around 900 which is a big number. It is said that the virus effects the senior citizens more and the people who are already suffering from any disease. Soo media has confirmed that Italy has more number of senior population so they have more deaths.

I remember the day it was second Friday of march 2020 when I heard  a news that , from tomorrow university is going to be closed for some days. As I told before I am from Gilgit and I went to Lahore for studies so we used to visit our home once in a year so I was like , I will stay at hostel for some days. The very next morning all my roommates started to pack their bags because they are from Punjab and near regions , I went to a market for urgent and when I came back, I heard an announcement from the hostel warden that we have to go home ,hostel is  about to closed. That moment was very bizarre because I was not prepare to go home and honestly speaking I am afraid of the route to Gilgit so a fear was around till I pack my bags. I called my father he tried to get the tickets from Islamabad to Gilgit but he failed because of the crowd. Then I called my cousin who is studying  in Faisalabad he said that we are going to booked a private coaster ,so he ask me to come to Faisalabad, so I signed out from my hostel and I saw a university bus which was there for students on that day so I get a seat in university bus and on the way there was huge traffic because of which I become late for the terminal when I reach the terminal there was no space for walk even. After reaching the terminal I tried to get tickets directly to Gilgit but there was no chance for next two days, so I went to the ticket booth of Islamabad but did not get the tickets there. Suddenly I found my some gilgti friends there, I ask them about tickets they told me that , they are here from few hours and still have not  get the tickets we roam around all terminals till 5:00pm then finally we got the  tickets of 8:30pm , we found some chairs and waited till 8:30pm there in a big crowd. Then we departed for Islamabad and reached there at 1:15am  and  went to my aunts home. Ya the story of Faisalabad is left somewhere because my cousin told me to go to Islamabad, so they will pick me from there on the next day. Soo at 5:30pm I meet my cousin and his friends and we departed to Gilgit , and finally reached home after many hours. When I came back to home there was no  scene of corona here in my town but all people got serious when number of cases were registered in hospitals.

When I heard the news about the china and Iran I was very worried about the Pakistan because it’s not that much stable but the decision of Sindh government and Pakistan’s government of lock-down the country was were perfect for this time. Soo they did it and circumstances are not that much alarming today as compare to other countries.

Soo please take the precautions regarding the corona outbreak. Stay at your homes and fight with corona. Corona will not come to you until you yourself welcome it so please be aware of the precautions and take care of yourself.
