My interest to Sports sciences

I have done my Pre-engineering from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School System which is one of the top schools in Pakistan. I was among the bright students and my teachers used to say that they want me to become an engineer but I was interested in sports and my aim was to get admission in the department of sport sciences and physical education. My society and even some of my family members tried a lot to divert my mind regarding my future but I was committed specially my parents were there for me, they never say no to me in any of my decisions. 

Actually there is mind pollution in our society .whenever you will talk about the physical education in Pakistani society , people have just one opinion that (oh you will become physical education teacher in a school). This psyche ruin the interest of many sports lovers.Even people tried a lot to convince my parents to change my interest of studies but i was dedicated to sports. People don't have awareness regarding this field they have traditional ideas.

Let me explain what actually sports sciences is this is the vast field of sciences , this is not just the playing , just tournaments, or the games related. Sports is related to the playing area the game while the sciences where we study the physiology, anatomy , bio-mechanics , biochemistry , trauma and rehabilitation , nutrition and psychology. Sports sciences is very similar to medical we can say that medical is for all people while sports sciences is for the athletes . This will cover all things of the athletes , which type of diet is required for a player in different seasons (pre, post in and off season) , which type of injury a player has and what type of rehabilitation is required , how much pressure is on player during the match only a sports psychologist will give solution to this, and the tactics used in game all these areas are studied in sport sciences and physical education.

Here is just a short introduction of my field I will cover all the sub-fields of my major field later.

Number of studies are carryout on different areas of sports field again we have another problem in Pakistan we don't have the labs to work in. All developed countries are working on different dimensions while in Pakistan we have sports sciences departments in some universities like The Punjab University Lahore Pakistan , Sargoda university , university of Lahore and UCP etc. Students are very talented here but they don't have facilities of lab and other advanced technologies for the experimental work. 

As I am student of The Punjab University Lahore Pakistan , this is my last year of BS(hons) I am doing my research in sports bio-mechanics as I mentioned before we don't have lab for the work, Pakistan has only one bio-mechanics lab in Lahore University of Management Sciences which was installed by PCB but that is not in work. These much difficulties are here in Pakistan for sports sciences students.
